① Unexpected email
If you have not heard of this company before, or were not expecting this email, be alert to a potential phishing attempt.
② The email is from an external source
Emails from external sources will have a large orange warning banner. Use extra caution when dealing with external emails.
③ Attachments
Be careful what you click - email attachments from external sources may contain malware.
④ Poor spelling / grammar
Poor spelling should indicate that the email may not be from a professional, legitimate source.

HOW TO REPORT
A SUSPICIOUS EMAIL
All suspicious emails should be reported.
Drag the email into a new email and send to 'antispam@lloydsbanking.com'.
Or, even easier, click on the report email button on the Outlook header bar:
If you don’t have a Report Email button, search for the Hive article 'Add Report Email Button to Outlook'.
Even if you have opened an attachment or followed a link that you suspect may be malicious, report it. The sooner we are notified, the sooner we can act to protect the Group.
